Purpose-built for control, speed, and reliability, the SplitFire RS (Rapid Safety) delivers three-position functionality — SAFE, SEMI (traditional), and RAPID SAFETY — in a compact, ambidextrous package. Compatible with mil-spec AR-15 fire control groups (.223/5.56/.300 BLK) with no receiver modification required.

Compatibility: Designed for mil‑spec AR‑15 lowers. Certain platforms and/or trigger groups may not function properly or may require professional fitting. Compatibility is continually expanding. Do you limit units sold?

Order Limit: 
To ensure fair access during launch, order limits are in place while we evaluate demand and production capacity.
Does this make my firearm fully automatic?

No — every round still requires a separate trigger pull. One pull, one shot.
Why is SplitFire RS™ the best?

Simplicity. Fewer parts mean higher reliability. It’s ambidextrous, 3-position, easy to install, and even functions with 3-D-printed prototypes (though we only ship metal).
Is it legal?

Unless you live in a communist state — then yes! Most pro-2A states allow our Rapid Safety™. We never ship to restricted areas. As ATF guidance currently reads, forced-reset devices are permitted, and our design leaves your trigger completely unmodified.
What calibers work?

Current tested platforms: AR-15 including .223/5.56/.300 BLK. We are working on additional variants to expand the reach of responsible, fun shooting!
